Project Overview
The Problem
WCS had a basic website created by the owner that was out of date and difficult to navigate. As the world shifted towards digital communication and lead generation during the COVID-19 pandemic, WCS needed to establish a more effective platform to connect with potential clients.
The Goal
The goal was to establish an updated and professional website that properly represents the expertise that is provided to the families WCS works with and demonstrates the company’s legitimacy.

Going Forward
Takeaways
Outside of my own personal websites, this was one of my first web design and development projects for a client. I had a rough framework for the timeline and process going in, but I was naturally shifting around and learning where I would need to account for more time in the future. As this was a solo project, it was nice to be involved in every stage of the process.
Next Steps
Because the client wanted a quick turnaround and a basic website, UX research was put to a minimum and there was no user testing. If given the opportunity, I’d like to do user testing and optimize the website’s navigation, structure, and calls to action to make the users’ journeys on the website as efficient as possible.
